Inside the clubhouse

Our clubhouse is more than just a building beside the pitch — it’s the social heart of the club. Inside, you’ll find two spacious changing rooms, a fully stocked bar offering a wide range of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, and plenty of room for players, families, and supporters to gather comfortably. Whether it’s warming up after a cold winter fixture or relaxing after a tournament, the clubhouse provides a welcoming space all year round. Large windows offer a fantastic view of the pitch, allowing supporters to stay close to the action while enjoying the comfort inside. For entertainment, there’s a TV and a darts board, creating a relaxed environment where players and visitors can unwind together. Outside, a lovely seating area provides the perfect spot to enjoy the sunshine during warmer months. Friendly, attentive staff are always on hand, and light snacks are available throughout the day. The clubhouse is also available for private bookings, including children’s parties, meetings, and community events — making it a true hub for both football and the wider community.

Recycled all weather pitch

Dura-Sport, in conjunction with Lucozade Sport created The ‘Conditions Zone’, an indoor 5-a-side pitch simulating the 32 degree heat and 76% humidity players would face at The 2014 World Cup in Brazil. With a 10 year lifespan the Company Directors felt that the surface should be recycled instead of being wasted and opted to donate the pitch, infill, technical advice and labour to Dunton & Broughton United Football Club, based near their Head Office. Dura-Sport teamed up with local businesses to create the project, including the erection of a 3.00m high perimeter fence and the facility now sits proudly at the clubs home in Dunton Bassett in Leicestershire. John Ward, Dura-Sport's Technical Director, said: "We take our environmental responsibilities very seriously and this includes avoiding the use of landfill and reducing transport usage wherever possible. The fact that this scheme, although challenging at times, has provided such enormous social benefits for a community club in our local area makes it extremely rewarding and something which we as a company are very proud of.” Leicester City legend Steve Walsh officially opened the new pitch in front of delighted club members!

Sunset over a well cut 11v pitch

Set against the backdrop of open Leicestershire countryside, our home at 17 Station Road, Dunton Bassett, Lutterworth, LE17 5LG offers more than just a place to play — it offers a setting. From above, you can see what makes it special. The pitch sits proudly within the landscape, bordered by fields and trees, yet firmly rooted in the heart of the local community. It’s a traditional grass 11-a-side surface, carefully maintained with meticulous attention to detail. Every line is marked with precision. Every goal is checked and secured. The surface is prepared with pride, week after week. We believe our players deserve a pitch that reflects their effort. The care taken in maintaining the ground mirrors the standards we expect from ourselves — consistency, preparation, and respect for the game. Throughout the season, it becomes a gathering point for players, families, and supporters. On matchdays, cars line the entrance, voices carry across the grass, and the pitch comes alive. In the colder months, it stands resilient. In the summer sun, it looks as good as anywhere in the county. It may look like a classic grassroots ground — but to us, it’s home.
