Lytham 2026
The Lytham and Blackpool tournaments are some of the most important events in our calendar, and for us, they represent far more than just football. As an inclusive club, these weekends give our players the opportunity to travel, compete, and be part of something truly special — experiences that many people take for granted, but mean everything to our team. We first took part in this tournament back in 2019 as Oadby & Wigston, and since becoming Dunton & Broughton United Inclusive FC, we’ve returned three times, winning the tournament in 2022 and 2024, and narrowly missing out in 2025. Regardless of results, it’s the memories, friendships, and shared experiences that make it so meaningful. Some of our players travel up and stay for a few days with teammates, others turn it into a family trip, and some make the journey on the day just to be involved — but no matter how they get there, everyone is part of something bigger than themselves. To make this possible, we aim to enter multiple teams across different ability levels so that as many players as possible can take part, but this does come at a significant cost. Entry fees, travel, and accommodation can quickly add up, and for some players, this can be the difference between attending or missing out entirely. Your support helps us reduce that barrier, giving more people the chance to be included, to represent the club, and to experience a weekend that, for many, becomes the highlight of their year.
